This place is amazing, nice staff. I've been to almost every rock and mineral shop around the state and this is definitely the best rock shop in Michigan!
Awesome! This a MUST VISIT location. They have a VAST collection and are SUPER friendly and helpful. You can take your time and browse through and ask about lots of stuff. I wish this shop was where I live, then I could go there every day...

A must see if your visiting Northern Michigan. A true home town treasure and one of a kind. You won't regret it.
I saw the sign and had to stop. It lived up to my expectations and the staff was friendly and knowledgable. They also gave me a tip on a closeby legal place to collect. Great fun!
Beware this place closes for the season in late September. Really wished I could have seen this place. Luckily I have family up here and I can check it out next summer. Apparently they have an Etsy, but I like to see my minerals and rocks up close before I buy them. Bummer, but I will definently check them out sometime.
