Service was really slow with only two customers. Orders a cheese burger that was much and soggy including the buns. The price was ridiculous but what can you say for a little town restaurant?
A friend and I stopped for evening meal here on 8/8/17. The waitress seemed to me to be relatively new. She did an excellent job with us but needs to speak up especially with older guys (I am kinda hard of hearing). Our order was delivered within a very reasonable time. My friend ordered the open faced beef sandwich which he said was very good. I ordered the chicken fried steak which I have to say was the second best I have ever had. I can no longer get the best as the owner and cook sold and retired years ago. My only problem was that I asked to speak to the manager to let him know how good his staff was. I was told he was busy and would be out in a minute. After 15 minutes I ended up telling our server and left. The staff was excellent. Cook staff excellent. Manager failed. He needs to learn that customers pay his wages
Great food, great atmosphere! The service was unmatched!! The room was just the right temperature... But... Sadly.. WiFi was horrendous..Also kinda confused why they had small children working for them... Besides that GREAT experience! Little Cesar's may have deep deep dish pizza but Hungry Tummy has paper thin pizza!!
I gave it one star because the pizza was decent. We asked if we could order a large pizza with different toppings on each half (like basically every pizzaria does). We expected to pay the price of the higher priced half for the whole pizza which is customary and fine. But then our waitress returned and said that the manager said to tell us that we would save $4.00 each if we both simply bought 2 small pizzas with what we each wanted. We said thank you for letting us know that and that's what we'll do. However, when we got the bill, it was $8.00 MORE. We kindly brought up the discrepancy in what we were told. The owner then told us that even if we had purchased one large pizza with different ingredients on each side, we would have been charged for two separate large pizzas! Who does that!?! We tried to explain that there would have only been half of the ingredients used on each side. The owner would hear none of it. We tried again to politely explain why that didn't make any sense and that NO pizza restaurants EVER use that policy (or at least should notify the customer in advance). By that time a long line of onlookers and customers had gathered and the owner became so flustered that she threw our money back at us and said, "here take it, it's not worth it! " we responded that we wanted to pay for our food, but not for the additional amount that we were misled to order. She became very upset, so we said, "Fine. We will take our money back then - and trust me, we WON'T be back! In hind sight, maybe one star was being too generous.
Great place! Went there recently for a get together after a funeral with about 40 people and showed up rather unexpectedly, they were a little short staffed for our gathering but did a great job! I was impressed and the food was delicious! Definitely recommend!
